Dawns of Blooms and Dawns of Ash

You woke up as a new me
Who had no clue where the old
You was or who. Here you are.

You woke up in a new town
Too small to call a town—streets,
A few stores, some rows of homes.

The peaks rose up in the dark,
And your mind filled up with stars.
Here no one knows who you were.

Here you are just one of us,
A word that can read the rest
Of us, words that now you are.
